Chairman's Remarks

Sport Lisburn & Castlereagh has been providing support and funding to Lisburn & Castlereagh Sports Clubs and individuals for over thirty years.  As part of this support, Sport Lisburn publishes a biannual Directory of Sport, which provides up-to-date information regarding Lisburn & Castlereagh sports clubs and Council leisure opportunities.  It gives me great pleasure in commencing the 2016/2017 Directory of Sport as an essential tool in locating sporting information in the Lisburn & Castlereagh city area.

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council provides a wide spread of 'top of the range' leisure and sporting facilities for an ever increasing and demanding population.  It is important that these assets are continually assessed and reviewed in order to cater for all the needs and requirements of those who aspire to compete at a high level in sport.

The area has a long and honourable history of success in sport and continues to provide an outlet for a multitude of disciplines.  An easy reference guide to what is available can be found in this Directory of Sport.

Affiliation to Sport Lisburn & Castlereagh should be an essential requirement for all sport clubs that are based within the area.  A comprehensive range of services are available, including financial assistance from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Sports Awards and support for clubs and individuals.  We can be contacted by or
